Doing the work is the easy part. You need to make sure people know it's available and can easily use it.

Believing that you've finished a project when you write the final line of code, or hit publish on an article is a common mistake. Distribution is the key part of any project.

Share the article with the relevant teams. Write a blog post about the challenging parts of the project. Polish up the README to make it accessible to first-time viewers.

Building the thing is the first stage. Making it useful for others is the second. Making sure they know about it is the third.

If you do the work and no-one can use it, you may as well have not done the work.
